Hello, I’m Cathy Sloan Gallagher, a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), and I’m glad you’re here.
I help women get to the root of their health struggles through personalized, practical, and data-driven support.
If you’ve been living a high-stress life – balancing a demanding career, caring for your kids, supporting aging parents, and other significant life events – and now find yourself struggling with persistent health issues, the gig is up.
It’s time to prioritize YOUR health needs.
Many of my clients come to me exhausted after trying everything from medications to supplements to restrictive diets, only to find themselves still searching for answers. They are tired of chasing symptoms and ready for real solutions that address what is happening beneath the surface.
That is the work I do. I help women uncover the root causes of their health concerns and take practical steps toward lasting change.
MY APPROACH
I have been in private practice since 2011 and am a graduate of the Nutritional Therapy Association. I am also certified in functional lab analysis, which enables me to incorporate a wide range of testing, including blood, stool, urine, hair tissue mineral analysis, and food sensitivity testing, to better understand your unique health picture.
However, my role is not just to take your history, run labs, and hand you a protocol. I take the time to investigate and then explain what is happening in your body so you can fully understand why you feel the way you do and how the steps we take will move you toward better health. I believe that when clients are informed and empowered, they are more likely to succeed.
I focus on personalized, sustainable strategies that fit into your real life. This means creating a plan that is tailored to you – your body, your medical history, and your lifestyle – not a generic, one-size-fits-all protocol. It also means focusing on nourishment rather than deprivation. My clients learn how to support their bodies with real, nutrient-dense foods without going to extremes or adhering to unnecessary restrictions. You’ll typically start with adding and experimenting rather than eliminating, and there’s always room for the occasional indulgences as it’s part of real life.
I also know that healing needs to be practical in order to be sustainable. I help my clients prioritize what matters most and take clear, manageable steps toward their goals.
WHO I WORK WITH
I work with women, typically ages 30 to 65, who are ready to take an active role in their health. My clients are often high-performing individuals who have done their own research, but feel overwhelmed by conflicting information and are frustrated with cookie-cutter recommendations that have not worked.
They are tired of chasing symptoms and band-aid recommendations, and want a root-cause approach.
They are looking for science-based, natural solutions that work but are also questioning whether the supplements filling their cabinets are appropriate, necessary, or even helping.
They are ready to stop guessing and start using real data to make informed decisions.
They are committed to making changes and need a clear, personalized plan and professional support.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We will begin by identifying a few simple steps to create early wins and initial relief. From there, we will take a deeper, comprehensive approach to uncover and address underlying causes.
My clients frequently experience increased energy, less brain fog, resolved gastrointestinal issues, stabilized moods and reduced anxiety, healthier menstrual cycles or less menopausal symptoms, and reduced pain and inflammation.
If you are determined to reclaim your energy, gain a stronger sense of connection to your body, and want to feel like yourself again, let’s talk.
WHY I DO THIS WORK
I’m a food enthusiast. I love growing it, cooking it, eating it, and sharing it. My love for food – and the deeply held belief that diet and lifestyle are foundational to our health – is what drew me away from the corporate world and into the wellness field. Healing is possible when we make the time to identify the root of our health concerns and then properly nourish the body.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel good, and I am passionate about helping women achieve that goal.
